T&T's 6th Annual
Health Research Conference
The Faculty of Medical Sciences & Caribbean Centre for Health Systems Research and Development, The University of the West Indies; The University of Trinidad and Tobago; The University of the Southern Caribbean; the Regional Health Authorities; Ministry of Health; Tobago House of Assembly; and the Trinidad and Tobago National Nursing Association are collaborating to host the 2025 National Health Research Conference (NHRC).

Main Objectives

To share research findings with key stakeholders (care providers, Ministries, Regional Health Authorities, academic institutions, general public, etc.)

To strengthen the national health research culture.

To build research capacity and nurture junior researchers.

"Climate Change, Environment and Public Health in the Americas"
Dr. Daniel Buss is the Head of the Climate Change and Environmental Determinants of Health Unit at the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), based in Washington, D.C.
This unit coordinates PAHO/WHO's actions in the 35 countries and 18 territories of the Americas on issues such as climate change, air quality, water, sanitation and hygiene, waste management, chemical safety, and environmental epidemiology and toxicology.
